Pyrox Tablets
PYROX is a well-balanced multi action formula having scientifically proven herbs along with Godanti bhasma for their known action on Non- specific fevers, Influenza, common cold, headache, muscular pain, and neuralgia.

- Useful in Influenza with muscular pain, in headache, neuralgia, intermittent fevers, flu, bronchial fever, and viral fever
- Preventive for Chikungunya and other non–specific fevers

- Slows the pulse beat and lowers the arterial tension.
- In fever, it helps to lessen the body heat. Also it lessens the size of the spleen when enlarged from fevers

Composition:
Godanti Bhasma – 200 mg: Anti pyretic, Analgesic, relieves kasa (dry cough), Svasa (Asthma), Pittajvara (Fever due to pitta dosa,) low fever, headache, high/chronic fever (Jirnajvara), low back ache, excessive thirst, aches, high blood pressure, insomnia and stress, has good effect in burning sensation of the body. – (The AFI, page No. 234)
Sphatika shuddha – 100 mg: Astringent, Anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and healing, Useful in vata pitta kapha vrana and Erysipelas(Disease causing fever and a deep red inflammation of the skin)- The AFI- page No. 209)
Giloy Sattva/ Galo-sattva – 25 mg: Galo-Sattva is a water extractable solid substance collected from Galo/ Gaduci. Anti-pyretic, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergic. It is useful in case of burning sensation intermittent fevers, chronic fevers, inflammations, gout, vomiting, cardiac debility, skin diseases, leprosy, cough, asthma, general debility, jaundice and seminal weakness.
Ext. of Cinchona bark (Cinchona officinale) – 25 mg: Anti-pyretic, Anti-periodic. The bark and all preparations of Cinchona are especially valuable in intermittent fevers. It prescribed for convalescence from fevers and in weak and flabby subjects. It is used in the prophylaxis and treatment of malaria, sore throat, abdominal pains, influenza, muscular pain, headache and neuralgia etc. It slows the pulse beat and lowers the arterial tension. Ext. of Saptaparna bark (Alstonia scholaris) – 20 mg: Stimulant, carminative, stomachic, bitter tonic, astringent, aphrodisiac, expectorant, febrifuge, alterative and anti-periodic. Bark of the tree has been reputed in Ayurveda for ages as febrifuge, alterative tonic and gastro-intestinal sedative.( Indian Materia Medica, Vol.- 1, page No. 80)
Ext. of Neem bark (Azadirachta indica) – 20 mg: The bitter tonic, astringent and anti-periodic virtues of its bark have been confirmed as effective in the treatment of intermittent fevers as Cinchona and arsenic. It has been further tested and tried recently in malarial fevers and effective in other paroxysmal fevers to relieve thirst, nausea and vomiting in fever, general debility, convalescence after fevers, loss of appetite and skin diseases.
