It Improves uterine blood circulation, checks functional uterine bleeding, also effective for Leucorrhoea of varied etiology. Gauri helps to stop all vaginal abnormal discharges & improves general health with increase in weight. It stimulates and tones up uterine function and reduces the pelvic congestion and inflammation because of its anti-inflammatory action
Composition:
Ashoka (Saraca Indica) – 100 mg. It is strongly astringent and uterine sedative. It acts directly on the muscular fibers of the uterus. It is much useful in uterine affections, especially in menorrhagia due to uterine fibroids and other causes. It is also useful in internal bleeding haemorrhoids and also haemorrhagic dysentery. The astringent action of Ashoka checks Leucorrhoea and menorrhagia.
Loohra (Symplocos racemosa) – 100 mg: It is very important in treating Menorrhagia. It is considered as cooling and mild astringent. It averts uterine haemorrhage and abdominal secretions. It removes sluggishness of uterus and normalizes uterine tone and structure after delivery.
Pushyanug churna – 50 mg: Uterine tonic, astringent, diuretic and useful in leucorrhoea and Menorrhagia. In The Ayurvedic formulary of India describes Pushyanug churna is very effective in the treatment of asrgdara (menorrhagia or metrorrhagia or both), svetapradara (Leucorrhea), rajodosa (Menstrual disorder) and Yonidosa (Disorder of female genital tract) – (Ref: AFI, part-1, page No. 113.)
Pradrantak loha – 50 mg: Arrests yellow and white discharges due to uterine affection.
Goukshuradi guggal – 50 mg: Cooling, Diuretic, Astringent. Useful in genitor-urinary system, suppression of urine, bloody-urine and in venereal infection. It corrects malnutrition.
Hirabol (Balsamodendron myrrha) – 50 mg: Astringent action, a tonic uterine affections. The drug checks menorrhoea very well. “Tincture of Myrrh is useful in menstrual disorders and chlorosis of young girls.” (IMM page No. 170-171)
Kukutandatwak bhasma – 25 mg: It is useful in calcium deficiency. Also useful in leucorrhoea. It improves elasticity of arterioles and corrects anaemia.
Loha bhasma – 25 mg: Natural source of IRON. It corrects iron deficiency and anaemia. Promotes body resistance and general health.
